SOLVED
Despite having already done this, I found that going into Tools>Options and unchecking and rechecking the DLL settings somehow fixes it. Wouldn't have thought this would change anything but hey.
By the way, the MT4 bridge is free to use in demo mode, but you need to get the Zorro S license to trade live.
Thanks for the heads-up. I plan to test around for a bit with the demo and work on some strategies of my own with Zorro, and will buy a license if I have any success.
I'd also like to help out wherever I can with the Zorro community but not sure what I could bring to the table right now with my relatively low programming skillset. Will carry on reading and tinkering for now
Thanks all for your help
