The lite-C compiler and the editors are made by other people, they cannot be made open source sadly. However, the A8 engine really should be made open source for free or at an affordable price, or should have been made years ago. I'd fix every bug that I found or suspected to be there for free, even if it took weeks. It's a pity that it's not happening.
