Hi everyone, I have been reading around here for a while but this will be my first post. I'm no programming exert, I've been using R for financial analysis for about 3 years, trading on and off for about 2 years that's about it...

I am wondering if anyone ever considered moving zorro scripts over to a new community in Stack Exchange? R is huge over there and honestly the only reason I'm here is because I think the R bridge is an amazing tool to have together with a back-testing and trade execution platform. I think Zorro programs could gain a lot of traction from spillovers coming from R and Quant Finance community. And this is not necessary just for trading, but also the back testing tools themselves and post trade analysis. I think R opens whole new doors for Zorro in terms of capabilities and vice-versa..

It really deserves more attention:

I found valuable information around this forum regarding the zorro platform and its features, it looks like a great piece of kit and I am planning to implement it together with IB but it is difficult to "dive in" to something when documentation is so scarce. Don't get me wrong, the manual is great and explains all the basics but it would be really useful to have many working pieces of code and working examples stored in an easily searchable and referenced library. And not just examples but also Errors, Bugs, and solutions to malfunctioning scripts. These already exist in around here, if you search hard enough but I feel like a lot of valuable information is lost between the 100s of threads in this forum.
