Good point. Though I think the 360 degree feature is a gimmick anyway (but a cool one grin ), I think ~90 degrees would be enough. Since with 360 your going to miss details since you are not watching the direction your supposed to watch. But e.g. 90 degrees would be enough for head turns and enough for the filmmaker to put e.g. some easter eggs and other extra's/details in the outer area's. Than 3d would be easier to cause the other camera not visible.
