The best advice I can give to anyone is to never stop learning. Acknex's way of doing things is lightyears behind in anything modern and C++ may seem more complicated, but once you grok it you will understand how incredibly inferior A8 really is.

Being good at something is, well, good, but it's not an excuse to not switch to something better. That is of course unless you have an already quite progressed game, like Superku does. It makes zero sense for him to port Superku to another engine, not in this state. For new projects and everyone else however, I can only recommend to look into the alternatives.

Seriously, never stop learning. Especially if you consider this to be more than a hobby. You'll always have to learn new things if you enter this industry and stopping to learn means you'll be left behind soon. This industry is moving fast, keep up with it. Also, learning new things is fun too laugh
