do you have any idea how to make a terrain lightmap supporting alpha textures (tree leaves) faster than a c_trace based solution which is slow as hell?
maybe a depthmap could be made and saved with bmap_process, then converted to terrain pixel coordinates somehow, and modified to have 128 as neutral colour? I think I can't do it...
