Hm that's right... The two fellows could get more and more upgrades, f.i. ability to jump, become magnetic and defy gravity (on metal surfaces), replace a buddy by one of a different kind that has special abilities (a gear wheel/ electrified/...). At a later time there could be an upgrade to use a second rope that sticks to everything!
