I like your logo. It has a professional look to it. Cool.
A lot of these logos don't show you what it's all about though. They don't show that it's a 3d engine they're representing. Honestly, this logo wouldn't get me into buying the engine. I'm sure it'll get some people to buy it though.
I'm not into lens flares etc either. But into graphics. True, we shouldn't lie about what 3dgs can do... but ... take dabroozar's logo as an example. It's not rendered in 3dgs (right?), yet it's 3d and it's got light reflections etc on it. it reminds of a 3d engine.
Don't take this as criticism on your logo! it looks cool, nice and simple. If they choose it, fine with me. it's something people will remember, and recall when seeing it.

Just trying to ask, what you think about 2d/3d logos I guess. Wondering why you don't make it 3d, not criticizing you for choosing not to ...
