Collider (working title)

INFO
---------------------

Collider is a game designed to be an enjoyable challenge. Choose from multiple game modes;

- Infinity
- Marathon
- Gate Keeper (Rush Mode)

Each mode will focus on a specific style of gameplay ranging from collecting a set number of keys within an allotted time limit to open a gate and progress, to the tried and true Infinity mode guaranteed to test your endurance and your patience.

As of now the game is still in alpha but the core gameplay is complete. I also plan on adding a level editor in the final release which will allow players to share their own challenging maps with the community.

The idea behind this game was to keep things very simple. I have never released a finished product and I would like this to be the first one, a milestone for me. I plan on adding this game to steam in the near future so keep an eye out for more info to get this project greenlit. This game was originally conceived for a game jam but life sort of got in the way and I was forced to sacrifice precious time. All comments and criticisms are welcome

UPDATES
---------------------

UPDATE 1 : Playable demo now available, this is a demo of the Marathon mode, infinity mode still needs a bit more work.

UPDATE 2 : Additional game modes complete, new version of game uploaded.

UPDATE 3 : Menu system about 50% complete. Basic audio, graphical, and control options have been enabled.

CURRENT BUILD ISSUES/NOTES
---------------------

-- None of the "Extra" menu options are functional at the moment
-- Graphical settings not working. Settings currently hard coded to "High", options will be enabled in the next build.

UPDATE:

New version of the game is ready to be released. This time the game will be in a closed testing state since it is so close to release. Looking for someone with a windows tablet, specifically a tablet using non-RT Windows 8/10(=x86. Please send a message to the inbox if you are interested in testing the new version. Non tablet testing also required however I am trying to test the tablet features.

Saw the video a few days ago, the dash concept seems pretty cool!
The effects and such are off to a good start, pretty fancy, but could use a even little more polish so they blend together more nicely.
The front-to-background grid needs some work, it should blend or fade out somewhat to the background. (Maybe even a DoF shader for the background?)
You could try and reduce the overall FOV too, maybe even to half the current FOV or even less.
The way obstacles fade out after you've passed them looks a little strange IMO.
There was something else but I forgot...
