Thank you, you're totally right. I noticed this a long time ago, but i almost forgot to fix it. I'll fix, it should be at least 5 times slower.
This things is happening when i spend a lot of time on testing the game crazy . Now i simply cant see mistakes like this smile

I just put some new pictures in gallery. In the previous year development was not fast as we would like - but it never stops. The end is slowly approaching wink.

Although I like the general progress I have some things to critique:
- The second in-game shot is too dark for my taste, I can barely tell what's going. It may be a problem with my monitor settings but even in dark areas I'd suggest to always make the things easily distinguishable. Some things near the light source are a little bit too bright (such as the sacks) while the ground (texture/ lighting) seems a little dark in that regard.
- The rock texture in the 3rd and 4th shot probably was a lot of work but I don't like it to be honest, it's too distinct and thus repetitious. It obviously tries to create an illusion of depth but you can see at a first glance that it's a flat surface.
I suggest you go back to the drawing board in that regard and create a new texture from scratch, but this is of course yours to decide. An idea: Use only a very low resolution "base mask" for those background models in question, then use that mask in a material/ shader to bring in some variety via multitexturing with soft and not too distinct textures and shade it via that mask, too (this will help creating transitions to the ground texture/ model). Alternatively, just use a soft texture with vertical structures, for instance something as follows:

Yes, that big mountains levels are certainly represented the biggest problem from the beginning. I'm not 100% satisfated with this but finally after many old version i think i found a nice solution for mesh and whole concept. This is not flat model with texture, this is model like i use in 3d (topwiew) levels with reall depth, then this looks much better in engine when player move than in this screenshoot. I 100% agre with you that texture and decors is still not good and i still need put five days work in this two levels. But i hope it does not look too bad, because i not planned some big changes, except textures and transition and fill up with even more decors.
About cave level and bright models, yes i still have this problems with light and ambient in many levels, i will fix this but it is currently on hold. I'll check again why level looks to dark beacuse you are not first who noticed it. Somebody has already said earlier, there must be a problem with my monitor settings.
Thanks for feedback Felix, you just give me idea how improve rock texture wink .

Hi

At this moment i work alone on a project, and i am little more occupied with some other tasks, and this is a main reason why developement is a slow. I hope that will soon change. Otherwise if i go on alone, i hope game will be relased next year, not before. Game is almost finished, we must do just five levels, some music and finish some parts of boss battles, but part for balancing and beta testing will take a lot of time, so i can't know for sure when game will be relased.

Unfortunately I currently occupied by other work and the last 3 months there was no progress. I need one or maybe two months to finish all my tasks to be able continue with Forgol development.
