It could be great with joysticks laugh I mean, it's already great. But the swinging mechanics lend themselves to analog input. And for those with more than one joystick, that could be a (relatively) easy way to put in multiplayer.

I'm looking forward to any updates if you find the time, but very happy with what I got for my money!

BTW, the visuals are great. Minimalist, but well animated, and very cool. And the special effects of the spells the bad guys cast work really well.

Hey Jibbsmart thanks alot man!

I was definitely thinking of adding local multiplayer, and I would like to update the game very soon. Would analog work by moving the sword at the exact angle of the analog? or by using the analog as how much force to add to the sword? Either way, local multiplayer, even coOp sounds like the next step!

Hm it was a fair challenge but in the end a little too easy I think. I liked the special effects but there could have been a few more enemy special attacks (or variations of those) like 5-7 small AoE circles from let's say small rockets/ fireballs being launched at once, a rather long lasting trail of fire or slime or acid (like in the Tron cycle games) or ~8 projectiles firing at once from the enemy position in all directions.
Either way, good job!

EDIT: What happened to your PC/ house? Did the power supply simply catch fire?
That happened once to the computer (which was turned off btw) in my father's house, luckily we noticed that before we went outside (for a couple of hours) as the PC was standing under a wooden table next to curtains and other wooden furniture.

Is the game too easy you think?
, just add a extremely challenging diffulty option (e.g. 'nightmare mode') or such if you haven't already (have not tried the game yet but it looks nice). This game seems to lend itself well for such an option.

hey superku, thanks for the boss ideas. You do definitely get overpowered toward the end.

The connection of my computers internal DVD drive was faulty, and it burned out, melting all the power cables to the PSU. PSU then failed which shut down the system. Luckily the burn damage was only centralized at the top. I bought a new PSU unit and repaired my computer, now using an external dvd drive lol. But now I think my graphics card is failing. Hopefully I can use the sales for the game to help buy a new gpu.
