Win Serf - finished application
I was debating whether or not to put this in the forum, since most of you won't be impressed by it. It's not a game, it's an application made with 3DGS. This idea evolved from my need for a sticky note, or post it not type of program that could help me make a to do list. As you all know, coding can really be a strain on your mental capacity. I often forget to make a change to my code because I didn't write it down. Well, I decided to make a simple reminder software, but I kept adding more features, and Win Serf was the result. Win Serf is: World Clock Sticky Note Task Reminder Alarm Clock True 3D Wallpaper Motivator RSS Reader You can find the product page at: Win Serf - World clock, alarm and task reminder program You can download the Win Serf application at: Win Serf Zip Download Screen shot:

If there was a way to hide it from the taskbar I'd be very interested
BTW Looks good...
Same here, it may not be a game, but an application like that can be very helpfull Btw, posting your application in showcase 2 was a good idea, just for showing people the hard work your delivered because making an application like that isn't that easy you know, so people WILL BE impressed
Cheers

Thanks for the kind words, all. Hiding the taskbar is a good idea, but I'm not sure if #DGS can do this.
immersionfx, I think it's not working because you need to have .NET Framework installed. The external exes were made with C# Express. You can install .NET by going to Start>>Windows Update. It's an optional update (not a critical update). It's also included in the latest service packs. You need to be running Win XP.
If anyone has found any bugs, or has suggestions for improving it, I'd sure be interested in hearing about it. You can also tell me your likes/dislikes. Thanks!
BTW, there are some free models in the free section of the site.
