Hello guys.

I've been running Zorro system 12 on an ECN demo broker account for a couple of weeks, and it appears that the systems don't handle ECN stop loss setting well. All attempts to open orders have SL set on order entry, despite ECN accounts not being able to handle stops on entry.
Is there a way to have Zorro set the SL after the order has been opened?

Additionally, the stops system 12 sets are strange in the least. As an example, it attempted to open an EURUSD 0.06 lot order at 1.2005, with a stop of 1.9209. That would produce a risk of 4322 USD, well outside the calculated 2300 USD bankroll needed to fund the system.

Do you have any tips or advice to configuring Zorro, so that backtesting and demo testing are more in line?

My two cents on these Z12 stop loss posts: Zorro places a deep out of the money static stop loss with the broker at trade entry. This is to act as a sort catastrophe protection only. It would act as protection if say your Zorro stopped working and you were unaware. I read this in the Manual somewhere.

Internally Zorro manages the system sell signals and real stop losses itself. These are dynamic based on Market events. Jcl described these in a different post as 'volatility adapted'. You can't see where these are set because they are not fixed. But you can see them getting triggered in the logs. For example :

{USD/CAD:HP:l6426} Stop 3@1.25872: -58.59 at 13:31:24.

Thanks for the reply. I've got no problems with hidden stops. Maybe not stops twice the size of the bankroll, but never mind that. At least its not Rob Bookers "The Finch" with 0 stops and high winrates cos the orders stays open for 6+ months.

My main point was more along the lines of how to make Zorro systems work on non-marketmaker brokers, using the MT4 plugin. ECN brokers on MT4 do not allow setting stops in the OrderSend() function.
