Hello everyone,

I am close to finishing my project and I have encountered a problem that I couldn't find any information on, so I was wondering if someone could help me smile .

After compiling/publishing the .exe , the max_nexus is always at 40MB. The WED-Maps have been compiled with a nexus of 200MB, however the compiled .exe always starts with 40.

The only way of getting more than 40MB in the compiled game currently, is to create a shortcut to the .exe with a -nx 200 parameter (which is not the optimal solution for me wink ).

Have I been overlooking something? Does anyone know what could cause this?


Edit: I am using the A8 Extra Edition
Edit2: It seems to have something to do with an error message I receive while compiling: WED - Can't open script file [file.c]. The .exe compiles without problems otherwise and is functional.
Edit3: Compiling error is resolved, but the nexus still remains at 40 MB

Problem solved laugh .
Apparently the nexus of a map only gets compiled into the .exe when the project is published from within the WED, not the SED.
Or perhaps that's just my case.
Well, as long as it works.. laugh

There was an old note that the first level and every level should be set to the Nexus size of the largest level. So if level 5 has the biggest Nexus of say 400, than every level should be set to 400.
