If JCL steps in and tell everyone this is it guys thanks for support. Im retiring and A8 is-as-is opensource in 2018 If I remember correctly, he said some years ago, that there's licenced code used inside the engine so it cannot be open-sourced.

The lite-C compiler and the editors are made by other people, they cannot be made open source sadly. However, the A8 engine really should be made open source for free or at an affordable price, or should have been made years ago. I'd fix every bug that I found or suspected to be there for free, even if it took weeks. It's a pity that it's not happening. , good points, they should have done this imo. Would maybe even helped Zorro if that indeed uses the gamestudio engine. I've don't own a computer with windows 10 so I cannot say, how good Gamestudio runs on it. But if it crashes because of some engine bug and the crash can be reproduced, than I think that the developers will fix this. Zorro is also developed in Gamestudio and they can't risk that it is not running on modern windows systems. , for me with it works fine on windows 10.
