We are committed to helping you protect your personal information and your assets. We have developed the Secure Login System, which provides a second layer of protection when you log into your account, in addition to username and password.

Here is how the Secure Login System works:

Once your account has been funded, a physical Secure Login Device will be shipped to your residential address (or principal place of business in the case of non-individual accounts).

When you receive your device, you'll also receive an activation link in Account Management. The address provided in your application must be accurate, because once shipped, your device will automatically be activated after 14 days if you do not activate it yourself.

Once your device is activated, you will be required to enter the one-time number generated by the device along with your user name and password when accessing either Account Management or the trading platform.

My question is, if I deploy IB and Zorro on VPS, are there any impact when I use this device? Anyone has similar experience?

The Zorro IB bridge is locally connecting to TWS or the IB Gateway (see Zorro manual how to set up this connection). So Zorro has no direct relation to the IB account protection features as these will be managed by TWS or IB Gateway. Since TWS is doing a forced disconnect once every 24 hours you will have to use the IB Gateway for a permanent connection. Once it is connected (via whatever IB security solution you are using - I am using the IB Key App on my Android phone which is working quite well: http://ibkb.interactivebrokers.com/article/2260), you can connect/disconnect/reconnect Zorro anytime (or just keep it connected for permanent trading) without having to deal with the IB secure login stuff. Unless the IB connection drops for some reason (network outage etc), of course.

Can we run both TWS and Gateway simutaneously on one computer?

Yes, you can run the gateway and TWS simultaneously on the same computer. However, you cannot use the same user login in parallel for both sessions. You have to create an additional user for your account in IB account management. This is also mentioned in the Zorro manual: http://zorro-project.com/manual/en/ib.htm, see section "Known IB API issues" / "Single session only".

I just downloaded Zorro 1.50 but it seems not supporting IB real account. Any advice?
