I want to start live trading with real money with the Z1 System soon. I want to start with 3000€ capital and default settings for magin and risk. I live traded with a demo account for one month. The results can be seen here:

The demo account started to make profit just recently. I think everything looks fine though.

However I have some concerns:

1: A lot of people seem to make no profit currently with the Z12 system. Has this changed? (Because Z12 is built upon Z1 and Z2, i think Z1 will have similar/worse results)

2: In this thread is a discussion going on about FXCM using a dealing desk. Is this true for all new accounts? If yes, I should probably change the broker? If no, on what should I pay attention when creating a real account on FXCM(I'm living in Luxembourg)?

I think the issues on that thread about Z12 arose from computer problems and/or incorrect settings. I guess it is like anything when it comes to investing - you need to take a risk sometimes. Maybe just do it with a small amount of money or demo trade it for a while.

As far as I can tell, FXCM still has a no dealer desk policy. I found this on their Australian website:

Have you interfered with the standard settings in meantime?

Is your demo account set to 100:1 leverage?

I am using Z12 system with IC Markets 100:1 leverage and am plus $460 after a couple of weeks. However I don't understand some of the stop settings, which seem to be a bit buggy, some trades are +$100 at the moment, so I'm wondering why they haven't closed....

Did you suspend trading April 2016? Or you just did not update. How is the Z1 doing now? Interesting.
