A new Zorro version was released:

http://server.conitec.net/down/Zorro_setup.exe

A description of the new features can be found here:

http://manual.zorro-trader.com/new.htm

Please also read the part about updating your system. With a Zorro S license you can now use T1 data for the backtest.

The included Z systems work with the free version and with Zorro S. Z system subscribers will receive new Z3 or Z12 versions later today.

Here are some T1 price archives for tick-based backtests:

We send out news emails about new versions when they become available on the download page - that will be next week. Currently 1.30 is only available here on the forum.

JCL.

I'am running 1.26 with Z12. Is there any need to upgrade to 1.30?

If you're not doing anything with Zorro but running Z12, it depends on your current win/loss situation. The data set for 1.26 is rather outdated meanwhile, so it's possible that it's going to deteriorate sooner or later. Then you should upgrade. For developing own systems, upgrade definitely.

Thanks JCL. Looking at the current situation of my Z12 I will definitely upgrade.

We've just noticed that the 1.30 update contained an old factor file for the Z12 system.

We've just uploaded a fixed version, but if you've already downloaded it, just copy the file "Data\Z12test.fac" to "Data\Z12.fac", thus overwriting the old file. The file "Data\Z12test.fac" is the new file that should be used for trading.

Okay. Done. Hope now that Z12 recovers. :-)
