In the screenshot at the top of http://zorro-trader.com/manual/en/trading.htm Trading is underway and the [Train] button is disabled. I observe the same UI when my own strategy is in Trade mode.

Further down it says
"Re-training: While trading, the [Train] button can be clicked anytime for starting a new optimization cycle. A second Zorro instance will pop up and start a training run while the first Zorro continues trading."

Clicking the disabled [Train] button does nothing, obviously. What am I missing?

I find that even with my own .c script, not one of the compiled .x scripts, the [Train] button is disabled when trade is underway.

Hi GPEngine
I don't have this problem. I'm trading a strategy and my 'Train' button is live and behaves as the manual describes.
The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that you might need Zorro S for that function to work.

Yea, I believe manual does mention that Zorro S is required for retrain. Read that yesterday. I also do not have this problem.

As to my knowledge Zorro S is only required for retraining executable strategies. But you're right, the Train button is indeed disabled in the free version while training. I'll check if this is a bug or an undocumented restriction.

I had to learn that Retraining is indeed a Zorro S feature - and I had written this specification myself 2 years ago. This will be added to the manual.

You can still retrain, you only have to start the training session with the command line.

I see.
It's mentioned in one of the workshops too.
