Yeah, everyone knows that situation, I guess, even if you came up with the idea entirely yourself.

However I don't agree with the addiction part. You've got to make your games in a way that the people want to keep playing
it, they shouldn't keep playing because they have to (I also think that it's unlikely they'll do this through addiction).
But yeah games like CoD with all these reward things go more into to the addictive direction.. not sure it it's working, though.

However, you have make your Game fun and worthwile and people will play it. This can be done through interesting or fun
gameplay/game mechanics/graphics and lots of other stuff. If you don't have an interesting aspect that wasn't there before,
these are the the factors that will make your Game unique.

you have to play it but because you cannot get enough of it .

vid or didn't happen ;P

jk. But seriously, I'd really like to see it in motion if possible laugh

Edit: some basic projectile types:

pulse*, laser, bullet, rocket* and lighting*. (* animated, looks much better in motion..)

But I'm currently having some problems with the displacement shader.. I somehow cannot set different shader values for objects that share the same texture smirk

I must check it out, but it should work as i'm using capsule collision shapes

EDIT:
Checked it out and it works pretty fine for "flat" stairs. Steep stairs are also possible if the collision hull is tweaked a bit.

Also nice graphics style!

It needs to "bend" for the added 3D effect, then it'll look really cool!
