The clumsy front- or main page of the Steam store and application has been redesigned, you can see it here: http://store.steampowered.com
So far it makes a solid impression, however - and what's probably bad for us - not all new releases are shown anymore by default, only popular new releases. As a small title you will then miss the attention you'd have gotten by just appearing on the front page alone.

Looks promising, i like their restyling. Also they show you some used adjusted lists which is great imho

It's so blue >.<

Apparently playing a lot of DOTA 2 put me in the "likes f2p games" group, so all the suggested games are shitty free to play games that I wouldn't even download if I was forced to.
IMHO it also doesn't match as well with the steam client anymore like the old version did.

I like the style, but I agree with the_clown, it is indeed too blue. They could've archeived a much better and more appealing look with a clever balance in colors (blue and grey) in stead of just using blue all over the place imo.

But they kept the design simple in a way that it's comfortable to look at and easy to browse, which I really like.

Edit: what still annoys me is the ugly .jpg compression for the background and everything ._.
