Howdy,

I have no idea if this is even possible, but a zfar flag for ents (opposite of znear) would be quite usefull me thinks besides the LOD options laugh.

Is it possible?

I think a better solution would be a shader that adds a z bias or displays only close objects.

Thanks for taking the time reading these threads jcl laugh .

A shader solution might be better, but that would also (at the moment) take away the otherwise free slot for an other material/shader. When one could just simple use a flag (like ZNEAR), than its more flexible and easier than merging a z bias function shader with other shaders.
