Uh, that's actually a very good watch. I didn't even know this film existed, thanks for posting.

imo one of the biggest problems is that these acknex games look extremely outdated.

however, the ideas are usually not even that bad...

This further confirm my opinion
Nowadays , thanks to modern engines, it is , relatively speaking, rather easy to develop a game at the state of art
Did such game get bad reviews because of 3dgs poor graphics ?
I dont think so
The point is IMHO the apalling lack of fantasy
Why should people be interested in the "shadow of ..."
There are thousand games around like that

yes

I dont know when you got stsrted with this hobby
However ask anybody with , let's say at least 10 years experience and it will confirm that at the time game development was a black art
it is not just a matter of modern game engines, nowadays you can find ton of high level model / enviroment / animations almost for free

Indie developers should try to come up with something original ( it is not that easy of course )

Haha, ok not everybody can bare listening to this guy, but it is an A7 game also coming through greenlight.

Only thing I have to say: you can't sell your game for that amount of money. Choose other platforms where you can sell your game for 2$. You don't deserve over 10$ for such a game.
