Zorro version 1.10 is now available! It's a major update, therefore the jump in the version number. The following new features were implemented:

- Zorro can now run as a MT4 expert advisor using the MT4 plugin.

- The Spectrum function can be used to find hidden cycles in a price curve.

- A new workshop was added that covers trading with machine learning algorithms.

- AI rules and strategy parameters can now be generated at the same time.

- The new PATTERN analyzer automatically finds profitable candle patterns for price action trading.

- The FrameOffset variable allows to generate trade signals at different times within the same time frame of a multi time frame strategy.

A more detailed descriptions of the changes and bug fixes in 1.10 can be found here:

http://manual.zorro-trader.com/new.htm

Zorro 1.10 can be downloaded from the same link as the previous version. You can install it in the same folder for updating Zorro.

Zorro seems to be developed faster than I can keep up with the documentation! blush

Congratulations release team, and thanks for another set of the great features that I'm yet to learn and play with. grin

I hope putting this release out leaves you some more free time to work on the future Linux (world domination™) version. cool

P.S. And this forum heavily misses the 'thumbs up' smiley.

I agree "thumbs up" is may favorite.

I've downloaded 1.10 ,opened a demo account & begun testing Z2nfa, and just finished with the first Lite-C programming lesson (posted on babypips).

My demo account opened 2 pairs and finished the day (or week, it's Friday) down -$50. I watched it some, but didn't understand much yet... Also, Zorro makes some funny sounds, but I don't what what they mean yet.

I'm confused about the $50K demo funds. I realize I can "only" use $7K in real trading account. How does Zorro know what size orders to place? I suppose it isn't really relevant since demo isn't quite like real trading anyway, it's just for us to learn the basics of trading procedures and get a general feel of trading.

I'm excited about discovering Zorro. Perfect timing for me to become interested in Forex.

Thanks for all the hard work you all have invested in creating it.

The $7K limit is for real accounts only - Zorro knows the difference. Demo accounts have no limit.

The funny sounds are the wav files in the Zorro folder - the file names are mostly self explaining, such as win.wav, loss.wav etc. wink

May I politely suggest that you provide a way to turn off those sounds? Took me a while to discover what is producing funky sounds on my computer, be it day or night. Currently I'm fighting it by muting the sound completely, otherwise it would wake me up in the night. tongue

Keeping you awake at night is certainly not the intention. I think you can get Zorro completely silent when you delete all *.wav files from the its folder. If that should not work - I haven't tried it yet - record 1 second silence with your microphone and copy the resulting wav file over all wavs in the Zorro folder.

What are all the various extra scripts in the script dropdown menu? Also, can US traders us anything listed besides the Z1fna & Z2fna?

Also, for testing a number of different demos at the same time, it seems that can be done on a single computer as long as there is sufficient RAM, correct?

The idea crossed my mind, but the mute button also does the job done. wink Also, how probable is that I'll remember to remove the wav files again after the next upgrade? I'd say close to zero. grin

The broker interface won't allow you to trade multiple times from the same computer, I tried that, it just says "broker interface busy". I don't know if that's the limitation of the FXCM dll, or Zorro itself. But you can backtest as many as you like simultenously on the same machine, if you use 1.10.
