hmm, this portal system gives you a great chance to develop a really special "mirror world" game, let it be sci-fi or fantasy laugh

Hello,

thanks for the reply

a little more "dirt" is yet to come, even I want it a little bit dirty but not too much.

i hope you like the basic design?

it is very modular and it is quickly to build scenes.

best regards

Sammy

@Sivian: Yes, there are a lot of possibilities. From a simpel portal clone to whatever. For example, someone here remonds the moview Hypercube?^^

I do my best to keep it as flexible as possible.

@Rei: Okay simple portal clone sounds a bit to easy, while it isnt ofcourse.
My statement was more about the idea then the mechanic.

I just worked again on my PP-Shaders.

I changed the way of downsampling the image before adding the blur effect for the bloom.

Before doing this I could't use more than 4x downsampling without getting aliasing problems
(the bloom startet 'flickering' when the camera was moving which doesn't look good at all)

...but with my new shader I'm able to use more downsampling without much quality loss:
I tried it with 40x and It still looked good

(40x means dividing the X and Y resolution by 40 - so the actual size is only 1/1600 (0,39%) of the original image!)

Here's a screenshot how the bloom looks with 40x D.S.

...oh I almost forgot: @Rackscha: looks very good. great job!
