Orange, sorry if this has been added.
A really cool and free Ivy generator

Import your model, set a root point and it automatically generates ivy with impressive results. A video tutorial and textures also available on the website

when using this one, make SURE you triangulated the model before importing.
it took me ages to figure that out! lol.

AutoIt v3.2.4.0
Website URL

AutoIt v3 is a freeware BASIC-like scripting language designed for automating the Windows GUI and general scripting. It uses a combination of simulated keystrokes, mouse movement and window/control manipulation in order to automate tasks in a way not possible or reliable with other languages (e.g. VBScript and SendKeys). AutoIt is also very small, self-contained and will run on all versions of Windows out-of-the-box with no annoying "runtimes" required!

AutoIt was initially designed for PC "roll out" situations to reliably automate and configure thousands of PCs. Over time it has become a powerful language that supports complex expressions, user functions, loops and everything else that veteran scripters would expect.

Features
    Easy to learn BASIC-like syntax
    Simulate keystrokes and mouse movements
    Manipulate windows and processes
Interact with all standard windows controls
Scripts can be compiled into standalone executables
    Create Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs)
    COM support
    Regular expressions
Directly call external DLL and Windows API functions
    Scriptable RunAs functions\
Detailed helpfile and large community-based support forums
    Compatible with Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP/2003/Vista
    Unicode support
Digitally signed for peace of mind
Works with Windows Vista's User Account Control (UAC)

I was looking for a free flowcharting solution to help plan programming and game play. I am testing this first one right now and it seems cool, There is a free version and a $20 per year richer one. You create flowcharts in your browser and can store, share and collaberate.

There is also Freemind which I've used on and off for several years. It is mind mapping software and also useful for certain types of planning.

Filter Forge has just released the first in a series of free Photoshop plugins, based on their procedural texture generating program and user created presets, that will allow you to generate some photrealistic textures. The first one is "Metals" and includes 7 filters.

You can't create new textures with these but you can adjust the parameters and get some variations.

I picked up a copy of an excellent UK mag called ImagineFX: Fantasy & Sci-Fi Art ;the Photoshop and Painter tutorials are fantastic. I just noted that they have a lot of the workshops and some of the support files available on their site for free as PDF's - well worth look if you use Photoshop.

Yeah, sometimes that site has some cool games for free there too. Some time ago they had 'Magi' and also the cool 'Immortal Defense' tower defense game. Quite cool.

Mostly they have 'bad' casual games though.

Cheers
