Although, I expected from the title a sort of click together effects that I know from the elaborated casual games.
This sort of 'bouncing' scaling and 'bouncing' rotation would make the colection complete.
Those effects are definitely something that the gamers are used to from their experiences with current match 3 and hidden thingies games.

Further common effects that you might like to implement: smoke like behavier, star trail like behaviour, explosion, follow mouse - although that's for particles.
Did you already try particles with panels?
