Procedural generated ...'ähm'.... things

Can't you see the beauty, Emo. There are millions of world which you even can't imagine. Just go through the portal of insanity, Emo, and you can go everywhere, EVERYWHERE Emo! Believe me.

All worlds are procedural generated in a few seconds, including calculating ambient occlusion. If you wan't to program something similar search for "marching cubes".

Do you have a running demo for that?

Looks cool. It's a better idea in level creation for air-shooters. Only needed thing will be cutting polygon count a little (to get 60 fps)

I switched to other account since marth 2010. Guess which.

Wonderfull!
To use it in a game, you have to reduce the complexity in a certain way, though.

Question:
Can you bake the ambient occlusion into the texture?

It's just AMAZING !!!!
The ambient occlusion works very well.
I'm going to look for the "marching cubes", even if i'am so bad in
programming and mathematics (^^).

Congratulation.

Wow, looking very cool! This is a vertex shader that simply uses a marching cubes algorithm? That's awesome.

I'd love to find out more about how to code something like this, do you have any specific links you'd recommend?

which algorithm do you use for the 3d noise? perlin? i see some displaced perlin stuff. the images below are for sure cuts through your volume buffer.

i once wanted to code something similar but let it be because of the huge memory consumption... maybe i'll have a look into it now.
