i got windows vista on my pc now (you can download it on microsoft site) but i cant compile anything so my question is: is there gonna be vista support in 3dgs?

It is at the moment not official, but Doug said in this thread, that 3DGS runs great for him on a Vista machine. http://www.coniserver.net/ubbthreads/sho...true#Post665624Are you using the lasted 3DGS version? But I think we can be sure, that once Vista gets into the stores, 3DGS will support it.  old_bill

3DGS runs extremly stable with the current Vista bete, even more stable then some games which came out in the last weeks.
I could also imagine that you have problems to compile your code, because of the Vista Directory in File Protection, you can turn it off in your User Account Panel.
Your friendly mod is at your service.

when i installed vista the first thing i did was stop the File Protection.
and no i am not running the latest version, 3dgs works but i cant compile.

Looks like some dlls are missing. Update 3DGS to the last version, when it runs for Doug it should also run for you! old_bill

I've had no trouble running 3DGS under Vista, but I'm only using one test machine so there may be something I missed. Can you be more specific on your problem? What are you trying to compile? How are you doing it (from WED, from batch, from command line, etc.)? Are you getting any errors? Conitec doesn't officially support Vista yet, but we'd like to know if there are any issues now before Vista ships.
