I started getting this weird error message when I picked up on a model I was working on befor the update with no problem. Here's the error.

This so far only happens when I try to open the skin editor or ocationally this will happen when I move a vertice I just pasted. So far this only happens with this specific model, but it was perfectly fine before the update.

When I import the model into Milkshape that program just crashes without tellin me anything. I'm assuming that this model might not have successfully saved after I got the update. This could be a bug, I'm not sure. I can post the model if needed.

I would really apreciate any help. This model is important for testing.

The first thing to try for rescuing damaged models is loading and saving them under MED. If saving as MDL7 does not fix the model, try to save it as MDL5. If this also fails, export it to 3DS.

This does not belong to the bug forum - we can only fix our programs, but I'm afraid fixing your models is up to you. Loading damaged files can naturally cause crashes.

It was perfectly fine before the update and was never saved with any other program. The file has never been moved and my PC is fine. The only logical assumption I can come up with is that MED has not properly saved it. I've had damaged model files before in the past and they have never acted like this. They were damaged from being put onto cheap CD-RWs. This file hasn't even been on my hard drive for that long.

I saved it as an MDL5 and then as an MDL7 and that seems to have cleared up the problem for now. Thanks.
