I could imagine that nice render effects that affect the whole scene like mirroring, HDR, bloom, motion blur or depths of field are only possible with the pro edition because you need render-to-texture. Maybe it is possible to insert such effects like easy to use templates into the pro edition of Gamestudio.

That could be a big incentive to buy a pro edition.

I second that . Although ideally I'd like it for comm as well. (I mean c'mon every engine worth its salt these days has render to texture).

To support Conitec in this place I would suggest fixed onscreen effects like these with editable variables.. so that the user has to switch on just a flag to get it without shader implementation -- and nothing more (just a protected shader solution).
