OK, another reason why I didnt' downloaded it was that I have already much typical war models. It would be better if you work more on one great model. So you can also make the skin. Because I can't skin. To the models, the first weapon is the best of them.

Hi Expresso,
They are not bad at all -- for anyone, not just programmers.
I did download them, not that I really need modern models, but they are good reference sources, and your model of a table could be useful.
I might suggest that you wait at least a couple of days after posting before being concerned about the number of responses. Not everyone is on the forum every day. Some hit it much less frequently than that.
Keep up the good work.
Regards,

Jim

the models arn't bad

the lack of skins isn;t an important issue (it's always a good excuse to allow those that NEED skinning practice to skin it themselves )

the problem is poly counts. most of the models are a bit on the heavy side for a game engine. Example like the Thompson, the handles are too heavy on polys and you won;t see that detail of curvatures in the model unless you get it up VERY close into the players view.

Low poly modeling is about using polys to get the BASIC shape ( think siloette). then the skin fills in the details
