Hello,

i´am working on a wed-plugin, basic functions are going to work, disc/pie(one block), rings/arc(made with blocks), hollow sphere(made with blocks), all configurable in shape/size and from/to angle.

Planned:

- connect faces from two blocks via new block
- step tool (like in excel, mark two blocks, and you can pull out other bocks from them with the diffences between the two blocks) or a simple turtle language
- lattice block (one block and/or made of blocks)
- place objects on lines/circles
- align tool
- auxiliary lines/circles
- change rotate origin
- local rotate/resize for a group of blocks
- face block to a point

Something you are missing, please post.

A way to freeze objects in WED, so that they are ignored when moving things around. I don't think its a feature already, if it is, someone point it out to me, bcz it does my nutt in when I accidently move the skybox or similiar item, like terrain.

Just me tuppence...

If several or more blocks are marked "disable",
I have to "enable" them one by one. Is it possible
to do that by dragging the mouse to select them
all or in object panel, ctrl-click to select them all
then right click->cancel disable?

I heard that is a new feature of the next update of WED (6.4 i think, haven't downloaded it so don't know)

Extrude face (as a new block) ?
If that makes sense.

@KoH,

No, I've tried it with 6.40.4 it didn't work.

The correct steps what I'm looking for should be
double click the first block, ctrl + left click
for others then right click->Render Style->disable.

EDIT
----
Sorry, I think this should be post to "Ask Conitec" or
"The Future" forum.

Yeah i was really looking for some better freeze grouping options to lock out sectionds in WED in one go, for example the skybox or similiar objects.

So far I get by by doing as Michael_Schwarz says, either disabling them individually or simply setting them to invisible in render options.

But it would be much more useful if you could do this in bulk...
