Long ago, don't now how long but it is very long, someone posted a multi texture shader wich had also the possibility to add grass at the place where a grass texture was. i hope someone knows wich one i mean :P

no, that is not what i mean. i mean that where there comes a grass texture it auto generates grass "sprites" like here: http://scumble.net/game_development/with_grass.png

search for something called "colormap", this could help you.

well, i think that that turoial doesn't help me, because i want to use more than 1 terrain in a map, because my game will be 1 big world and a terrain can't be as big as i want with good quality and high FPS. but thanks for your reply.
