I've included my Zorro demo programme screenshot and the trade that is open and active in Meta 4. I'm using Z12 system and IC Markets.

Currently USD/CAD is in a healthy position, but Zorro has set close to 1.3823 which is slightly higher than its open price. However, it's currently at 1.35 which is lower than the open price, and in the positive. If it goes to 1.38, wouldn't it be in the negative?

I'm just wondering if this is an error on Zorro's behalf, or my stupidity? Clarity would suffice in this instance.

The 1.35 stop is probably the stop sent to the broker. Search "StopFactor" in the manual.

Also, what do you mean by "buggy"? Any specific examples?

1.35 was the price of the commodity at the time I captured the screenshot, not the close price. The close price is 1.38 according to Zorro, however this is way above the open price, when the initial commodity was shorted not longed.

I'm reasonably sure that 'StopFactor' is still the answer to your question.

Tomtom: If something is unclear with a particular trade, just look on the status page. There you can see entry, current price, stop, and profit listed for all trades.

Hi JCL - what do you mean by the status page? Thanks. I'm worried because I think the profit stop is wrong, shouldn't it be below the price Zorro bought the currency pair, instead of above it?

The status page is detailed in the manual (search for "Trade status, chart and trade log").

As for the profit stop stuff, what you're seeing is normal. A losing trade can be temporarily profitable and a winning trade can be temporarily a loss. The Z-systems won't blindly try to prevent that with stops. If you think that's wrong, I encourage you to write a script and see how closing trades early goes.

Also be aware that as boatman has been trying to have you learn (you seem strongly averse to the manual for some reason), the stops sent to the broker aren't the same stops Zorro employs internally. Read up on StopFactor in the manual. Zorro sends a "hard" stop to the broker but also uses a "soft" stop internally.
