Hi!

As I am new to programming trading robots/EA's/strategies in general, I kindly ask if you guys are following any general step-by-step guide that you use as a rule of thumb or so.

For example:

1. Programme strategy
2. Test it
3. Train it with optimized parameters
4. Train it with WFO
5. Check the robustness of a strategy by adding for example detrend, NumSampleCycles.
6. and so on

For myself, i've only come to chapter 4 or 5. My next step is maybe to decide how much capital to invest. Can you guys tell me which is the most noob-friendly way to do this?

Thanks

MS

That is the subject of chapter 6. The tutorial is not really a full course about strategy programming - the books in the link list give a much more detailed introduction.
