1024² not good enough for what? 1024² should be more than enough for an good quality! For example, i use one 2048² Texture for more than 6 Objects ( 6 different Textures in this file) and the quality is good enough. Do you used an NRM Shader with your Textures? This will have an sharpening effect on the Object.

Thank you for your replies. rvL_eXile, sorry to ask but what's NRM Shader? I've try the shader library that comes with 3d game studio by default without good success. My textures are mostly 1024^2 but they look blurry. I'm still figuring out what could be the reason, maybe my video card?

NRM = Normalmapping Shader Where do you get your Textures from? I use CGTextures.com with premium account to gett all tilable Textures in an higher Size.
I'm using .tga only, cuz dds is a bit blurry but have an smaller File Size than tga.
