Somewhen not that long ago, I remember someone posting an really easy to understand and pretty complete article about gamma correction, but looking for it now, I can´t seem to find it. Would be great if someone else has seen it and can get me that article .
Yes that´s the one, thank you very much I´ve written so many shaders in the past and the results always looked ugly because I never really understood this correctly, well I did after reading that article, but I didn´t get to write lighting shaders since then .
My problem with gamma correction compensation is that I've never got my monitor configured the way that it looks right. I guess my monitor is basically ..not so good. I should probably add the Naughty Dog paper to the papers list.
