I like Zorro very much. smile

Every time I invest effort in learning a software or trading platform I have the same doubts. How long will this last?

The Zorro project is the most interesting thing I've seen for a long time.

But I can not avoid seeing a serious drawback. It's a black box that we can not change anything inside. Of course this is not very relevant to many applications. But it is if you intend to serve as a main source of income and not just as a source of secondary income or accessory.

I believe that very effective way to avoid these problems would be to open the code, so you can favored the open source movement.

For this reason I have allowed myself to open this question. Is into Zorro project plan to open the source code of Zorro platform? cool

If there is not answer to this question I understand.

Thank you for your really great job.

I understand that and would also prefer open source, but that is not possible, at least not for the Zorro core. Some of the software is under license, and we also have been paid for the development and thus can not freely give away the source.

However, we will make Zorro as open and extensible as possible. We have done the same with Gamestudio - it is not open source, yet users can add functions and improve or extend all parts of it.

Zorro is here to stay.
