Hi,

i have very slow framerates in my game. It sounds very strange, but if i right click my mouse while the game is running the fps are very good. The mouse cursor turns red then. What is happening to my game when i right click and how can i get the fast fps wihout this "trick" ?

have you debug the loop without right click? Maybe the is a missing wait!

I cant find a missing wait. I forgort to mention that this behaviour occurs only one one of my two pcs. Both have a ATI Radeon 9200se with the newest ATI drivers on WinXP. Any further ideas ? What happens on the right mouse click to the engine ?

is there a special mouse driver? Try to swap the mouse with the other mouse!

It is not depinding on the mouse modell. Perhabst JCL can explain what happens on right mouse click ...

On right mouse click, a default function runs which toggles the mouse cursor on and off. I dont see why this would affect your frame rate...

sure it is not depending on the mouse model, but check if the mouse is ok. There can some strange effects with a mouse having a failure and some motherboards.
