Hi Game Studio Community,
I've been working on a project which doesn't get a name yet. I work on it for a bit more than a half year now. I already finished the "programming-stuff" and the most part of the CG with items, interfaces, tiles and all that things, but before I go on I want to get sure that there is no doubt about some objects e.g. the trees and the building. So it would be great if you could give me some criticism, especially in case of the trees, whether they fit to the rest. And in case of the characters. That would be nice Thanks.

PS. Later I'll replace the sky with a background image which is able to move by the motion of the player.

Looks very nice, good painting. I like the trees very much, although IMO you'd need to create a few variations, it's a little too repetitive.
I don't like the pillars in screenshot no. 3, try to reduce their saturation and maybe rework the plinths (?) (f.i. shadows). Btw. why does the house in the same screenshot has black outlines if the other houses don't?

Ich finde deine pixelei großartig!
Ich habe selbst lange zeit mit dieser art von kunst verbracht.

Mal schauen, vielleicht hilft dir das:

*Die felsen sind hübsch, aber man sieht den raster noch zu deutlich.


*Die umgebung wirkt durch die vielen details realistisch.
Im gegensatz zu der hausstruktur die ziemlich cartoonmässig daherkommt (keine struktur).



*der schatten der auf das gras fällt sollte es nicht grüner sondern dunkler werden lassen (ungefähr so wie das hohe gras).


*die säulen und die mauer des asiatischen hauses sind durch die scharzen ränder SEHR abgehoben von der umgebung.
Mach es wie bei den Holzdächern der oberen häuser.



*am vorletzten bild hast du einen kleinen fehler mit den büschen begangen,... aber das hast du sicher selber schon gemerkt ^^


*Die figuren find ich sehr gelungen!
Hab noch keine vom stil vergleichbare gesehen.




Auch wenn das jetzt nach viel kritik aussieht, gefällt mir die grafik trotzdem sehr gut.
Nicht das du denkst ich bin ne alte nörglerin.

Find ich eigentlich nicht, schließlich achtet da beim Spielen niemand so genau drauf.
