Amanda_Dearheart OP Newbie Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 33 California	I just installed Gstudio 8 on my main computer. It's a HP Slimline running Windows Media XP. It installs fine but the WED editor doesn't show the grid lines in the panes. Also, when I try adding objects (e.g. the cube) they don't show either. When I use the build function, I get a DirectX err. invalid call. The system runs fine on my system running Vista! sivan Expert Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 3,150 Budapest	check your video card, and latest directx to be installed. e.g. my integrated intel mobile 945 does not support fully directx 9.0c, thus A8 does not work, only A7. Free world editor for 3D Gamestudio: MapBuilder Editor
