What should I use (learn) to make simple 8 bit music?

Depends on your budget I guess. There exist quite some (free) plug-ins out there which let you create all sorts of 8bit instruments you can use in softwares like Fruity Loops or Reaper (both not free but as far as I know there exists no really decent freeware for arranging your instruments etc.). If you consider spending a little bit more there also exist many options - I often heard good things about Reason when it's about 8bit music...

BTW doesn't a topic about 8bit music already exist here? I still remember writing some links for said plug-in-instruments not too long ago...

Still sad that there is no free software to make 8 bit music

WHAT?! I hope this is s bad joke!!! The internet is FULL of free software for creating 8bit music - I dont even know where to start. Just search for trackers. All kinds of trackers. Modplug Tracker, Milky Tracker, Impulse Tracker, Renoise, Scream Tracker, Fast tracker, Pro tracker, Oktamed ... the list goes on and on. Just because you're to lazy to learn tracking (or what ever you want to do) doesn't mean there is no software available! Learn tracking and don't expect a program to spit out 3 minutes of quality music by just pressing a button, damn it!

Saying that I'm too lazy to learn is really senseless and stupid, why do I ask for tools then?
Why I don't ask someone to make simple music for me? Why do I want to make it on my own then? wdlmaster r u nuts?
Instead of saying something like:
"The internet is FULL of free software" point me something, some software with which you have experience or which you've found.
Just that I didn't find any softwares doesn't mean that I'm lazy to learn!
Don't make yourself looks like a fool, next time think twice before making new post or something.
Go drink warm milk with cookies, that will relax you and all of your hush feelings
