Don't underestimate those pages, as they're made with a well known toolset for internet marketing, and the leads which are routed onto them are in most cases already prepared by other sales funnels for buying the thing they expect to find there.
I don't support this but be sure the owner will make a good bunch of money with it... And from a legal perspective he's allowed to do so, of course except for the images copyright infringements.

... which is why it's very stupid to use the images.
but, if I'm not mistaken blender's under a licence that makes sure you have to note it's blender if you redistribute it. Or isn't it? So it's not legal at all.
