Would it be appropriate and possible to create a new forum for "GS in research and Education"? There are some of us corresponding in an "engine" thread. However, others could easily miss that thread. We often have concerns that have a different emphasis than gaming. Thank you.

Perhaps a "Commerce and Marketing" branch would be also useful.

I think no. My intention is, placing the 3D GS applications in the Commerce and Marketing area. The aims of those programs to assist, facilitate possibilities, for example in marketing. I am working on a program, that creates a shop interior, and another program is a player. That can be used by person who is subject of a study, how behave people in a shop.
This isn't game bussiness. IMHO

Having started this, possibly in the wrong spot;

My thought was to bring together all using GS for research and/or education. The idea is to share techniques, solutions and questions. While a given application might result in a commercial product, I hope all participating in this potential forum would be willing to share without compensation.
