Help, we cannot run get SED to compile when running on a network. I asked our IT people to remove SED.exe from the anti-virus list (Sophos warned us of an issue) This is a new problem, we have run SED script for several years without problems Any ideas please ?

No, but there can be lots of possible reasons. For instance, renaming network drives, removing access rights, deleting folders and so on. The obvious solution is to remember what you changed with the network for causing SED not to compile anymore, and undo that. For compiling, SED needs full access to WED.

This was a great help. I/we did not know that WED needs to be working. When I added the reg key it worked. The new A8 key had not been emailed from our IT department and so I was stuck with the old A7 key and WED in trial mode. But it works now
