Hey, very nice level design and lighting. I like your work. But you should really change that IX weapon model to a better matching one. The white, clean skin and the low polycount of the weapons destroy much of the athmosphere. Take a look at the modelpacks at blattsalat.com. They`re cheap, have a good polycount and are compatible to IX out of the box as far as I know.
Edit: Oh, I see blattsalat.com is offline... hm I bought some models there few weeks ago...

Okay, dude. I just got done watching the high quality video. The level design is good. The lighting is good. Next time record with sound. Stop the HUD from blinking/flashing. Replace the first person player models. (Blattsalat, FPS Creator, 3DRT, etc.) Replace the enemy models and/or improve animation. Bottom line is, you rock! \m/ Overall, it looks good. I really want to play it! Keep up the good work!

Hey,

i like the graphics. But in the movie, I can see at most time nearly nothing since it's way to dark. You should make some more light sources (or indirect onces), or at least something like a flashlight, but at the moment there is a little bit to less to see in some areas.

Keep up the good work!

lets see now laugh

the recorder i use is some freeware that couses the hud to flash.
sound maybe the recorder could handle that i will check.
fps models are only first drft in mesh tex and anim will be developed more once i finish the levels.
the ai movment and mesh is also only first draft, really having problems on finding the right look that i want.

the issue about levels being to dark i do understand but will not add more lights, since i run a dual moniter setup and it looks right on the first and to bright on the second and to dark when i run it on my brothers i will not relight until i have runned the levels (not capture) trough more pc´s to see how it looks.

Looks realy Cool. I love the many little details and those spiders and the glow effekts are cool. What would it look like if you add an effect, like in Resident Evil : Umbrella Chronicles? I mean that one, were the glowing eyes show those streams when the enemy moves fast.
Lights are perfectly choosen, not too bright not to dark.
If the gameplay and the story can hold that standart too, it will be a nice game.

Then I would recommend you to implement a control-function in the options where you can set the gamma (with an example image "not visible", "slightly visible" and so on), other "dark" games also do that to provide a solution for this problem.

hmmm, well i knew the animations seemed like the ones from IX which i personally think sucks too tongue lol the levels seem somewhat claustrophobic, narrow passages and all.. u may wanna get creative, use some events, when player is here do this, play that, this action happens, as it is now... it well.. lol kinda reminds me of quake grin

well i really hate pre determind events think its been ruining most games the last 5 years.
i dont want to die in a game and the next time know whats going to happen at the spot i died.
that sais their will be some events that are needed to clerify things in the story and those i will use.
the levels should also be dark and clausterfobic to accent that its i horror survivor type shooter.
