1)error message: "d3dx9_30.dll was not found" was when I attempted to run the "warehouse" and the "venice" downloads. I am running direct x 10, shouldnt they be backward compatible?
2)I want to test the new GED but I want to open "To change that please open the wmb of one of the techdemos." But I cannot find where to download a tech demo which has a .wmb.
It does not seem very friendly for a new person to attempt to understand the GED when there is not the techdemo available which is pictured in the manual.

Quadraxas, Your right about that, thanks, I installed Direct x 9 and it solved the first problem, it seems anti-intuitive to have to install direct X 9 when I was already running direct x 10. I don't understand why.

The demos were produced at a time when all DX versions contained the DX9 DLLs. This is not the case anymore with the newer DX10 and DX11 version. We'll upload newer demo versions soon.
