Hi guys,
I'm back and I am building a brand new portfolio of 3d models and art. So I need your help, if you have a decent idea for a model that I could put in my portfolio, I will do the model and then donate it to the gamestudio community.

A couple of notes:
1) I dont do animations anymore, so its just a model and texture
2) I may not do every model, only the ones I feel will help my portfolio.
3)Also, I need a website design, so preference will be made toward anyone who can help me create a nice looking website.

how about remaking some old models from this engine, an upgraded c-babe/warlock/knight but use a similar style and texturing.. idk, just bring GS into the new age..

I agree with darkinferno. A remake of all the free models would be a nice contribution to the community.

Of course, you could also just make some of the more widely requested models: soldiers, normal people, fantasy characters, and space marines.

Yeah, ok, all those things could be useful for the community and good for my portfolio, I'm already working on a character mesh now.

Making those types of general models are fine, but if anyone wants a specific kind of model for their specific game that was more what I was suggesting. Not only would it be good for the community, and good for my portfolio, but also good for someone's game that they are actually working on now.

Anyway, I'll wait a week to see if someone needs something specific, and if no I will redo either cbabe or an average mercenary.

I agree, why would I want a model for my game everyone else can use, the idea is good but models can make or break a game so they need to be specific. Thanks though.

i agree with darkinferno that his project needs specific model, but some projects are okay with not exclusive models and im not sure why you'd think that they shouldnt, if they shouldnt, people wouldnt make thousands of dollars everyday selling models on websites.

yes i know but am assuming most people will ask for project specific models which is why i said, make something for the engine itself that the entire world would use, what better than an update to c_babe or the guard, something that may even go on the product page
