Thanks. The site is excellent. They offer free models and characters for FPS.

I see the files have .X extension. When i import a .X file to MED i see that a file have , for example, 3MD of size. But when i save it to a .MDL extensión its size get bigger and have 25 MB. Does somebody why?
How can i fix it?

The X file format probably just compresses its contents in a different way. If that's the case, there's not much you can do to fix it.

there is a "third" software that make the conversion?

Its incredible, but 3d MAX doesnt import .X files , neither Milkshape! frown

actually its probably because of the type of animation, the regular .mdls from back in the day I believe are vertex animated, so with decent animations they have a huge file size.

redeemer, lostclimate, thanks. Yep, maybe a good idea is to import the x file, and delete frames or animations that dont need. Its not the best solution but its a viable idea.

fagmotion imports .x files, and can export directly to mdl7
